Quite possibly the worst track ever recorded...

Whenever this comes on I just cringe, this is my personal least favorite song:

"I felt bad because I couldn't wheelie; until I met a man with no bicycle"

    Man, That's sad.

I love the whole album. Especially "One of the Boys"

That song isn't even a contender for worst ever. Its not in the same category as "We Built This City" by Starship, or "Muskrat Love" by Captain and Tenille. And then there is anything ever recodred by Justin Bieber

It would be a very long, long, long list of bad songs before I ever got to Mott the Hoople.

I have to categorize. It would be impossible for me to pick a most hated song from among everything, there'd be way too many candidates, but I can easily give my most hated song that plays on some of the stations I actually listen to...

Yea I googled it, ha ha! Really I always thought it was that spinoff band, really. Never listened to S&G much, nothing there for me although I did see the graduate, it worked there.

Not only written by Bowie, but he actually donated this song to the band, and you can hear him singing in the background. There's even a version of him singing lead. This one song kept Mott alive for a few more years.

I've always liked All the Young Dudes. Sometimes bad songs are good ones, anyway.

Yeah, it does expose my age somewhat but my favorite bad song has to be Hanky Panky by Tommy James and the Shondells. I loved it the first time I heard it. I've never stopped.

For some reason, I can't get into the Beach Boys. Yeah yeah Pet Songs is a masterpiece wonder of genius magic to everybody else on this planet, but the vocals send noticeable chills up my spine. Not in a good way.

All the Young Dudes is dreadfully boring, and Paradise by the Dashboard Light is overwrought.

my favorite bowie albums are those he did between ziggy and let's dance: especially, station to station, heroes, and low. these three releases rival anything by anyone.

i love "pet songs"! especially the meowing ones.

'pet sounds' is the only beach boys i've ever bought, but never really got into it other than god only knows, which got its hooks in me. the beatles say the album was a big influence, as do other bands like wilco.

most songs in the modern country or sleaze rock genres would top my list of shît, if i were to compile one.

he's not listed as a background singer on its wiki page.

Go listen to Three Dog Nights Greatest Hits, or about anything from Sonny and Cher, then come back and tell me Mott The Hoople sucks.

I mean they do and so does the song, but there’s so much crap music out there that’s worse.

There's bad songs, then there's bad songs that once heard, can't be un-heard.

    Earworm from hell, man...

(also, possibly the most punchable band of all-time)

Monkhouse: I want to go like my Dad did – peacefully, in his sleep, not screaming in terror like his passengers.

System: Fake news?? Trump's a Fake President, for God's sake.

Plat: I'd rather fellate a syphilitic goat than own a Cervelo.

Homer: I believe that children are our future. Unless we stop them now.

Seam: Saw Bjork poop onstage back in the day. It blew my teenage mind.

Aladdin Sane may be my favorite rock record of all time. At the time it came out, I mostly listened to folkies and wimp rock. Anyway, one Saturday I went to the local record store to buy the new Cat Stevens record, Foreigner. Aladdin Sane was sitting next to Foreigner on the new release shelf. I'd maybe heard Bowie twice on FM radio. I'd just read L.A. Times critic Robert Hilburn's review of the record. He liked it.

I brought both the Bowie and the Cat Stevens home. I put Foreigner on first. Two-thirds of the way through the first side I ripped it off the turntable. Wimpy, self-pitying sing-songy dreck. Then I put on side one of Aladdin Sane. Before I was half-way through Watch That Man, I was a Bowie fan. By the end of side one's Cracked Actor he was my favorite rock artist. Still is.

Probably more nostalgia than appreciation with me, but I think Three Dog Night is great.
