So, I took a nap in the back of my car while I my wife drove us home from her parents this weekend...I'm never in the back of my car. I only ever put the kid in and take her out. Most of that is fiddling with the car seat.
While back there, I noticed that the ceiling of my car was disgusting. The culprit: flip-top lids from my daughter's cups. It looks like a coke exploded originating from her seat.
I'm needing a recommendation of any upholstery cleaner safe to use on non-vinyl car ceilings. Enough of you have kids and probably drink soda's that one of you will have had a situation like this!
I've used Blue Coral--spray, dry, vacuum...Cheap-on Amazon and elsewhere.
(The culprit looks cute, BTW)

Recent eBay ad for a custom Bruce Gordon: "You may wonder how someone could buy such a bike, and own it for 34 years, yet ride it so little. The answer is not so bad as illness or death, but still very sad. You may have guessed already: Golf."
armor-all spray n scrub stuff that foams up. it works really well at getting 5 year old destructive kid grime out of car upholstery. trust me. crayon, marker, dried ice cream, dried smoothie, dried soda have all succumbed to this miracle goo.
catzilla: I wish we were all a little more invincible.
Rub her nose in it, that's the only way she will learn.
I would start with the Blue Coral. Or any standard "fabric" cleaner, really.
I find Oxy based cleaners to work very well on a wide variety of stains, either mix your own or one of the premixed varieties. You can also try Spot Shot. That stuff gets out lots of things, though it can fade color. Probably overkill for cola. But for things the standard cleaners won't budge, I've had luck with it.
We used a product called New Wave that was a plastic/fabric cleaner, citrus based I believe. It might be a local product only, unsure, we bought from a vendor so I have no idea who the mfger was/is. Left a nice clean smell.
