The guy plays with passion! I like the fact the guitar is beat; truly a tool to be enjoyed and not an art object.

First record I ever bought. It ended up on the sofa and my Mother sat on it, breaking it in half.

    true enuff.

In my opinion, there is a huge difference 'tween a performer on stage putting on a show and a performer performing.

Recently, I was watching a performance by Mahalia Jackson. She simply walked away from the mike and continued so sing... could care less if the audience could here her.

When I was a kid, one of our local TV stations would play 'Classical Gas anytime they would run into any technical problems until the normal programming resumed. Needless to say, I heard the tune a number of times.

Channel 9 in Chicago played "Take Five" by Dave Brubeck every night as the lead in to the 10:30PM late movie.

I love the synthesizers. So shoot me.

[I am of the age to remember Classical Gas hitting the airwaves. I also remember Fifth of Beethoven and Popcorn hitting the airwaves.]
