    The Triple Stigmata

Is there such a thing as the triple stigmata?

You know, a guy or gal shows up on a bike with a triple and you begin to bleed from palms and have visions, ANYONE???????

See...this is why I haven't ridden in a while. I have a triple and I'm afraid of the blood loss.
It's all fun and games until someone ends up in a cone.

None in the group I ride with. Mostly because we ride compacts and there are a few triples.

With the triple stigmata, you only get blood in three places instead of four or five. As stigmata go, it's preferable, really. Much less of a mess.

How about multi-gear stigmata? You know, a guy or gal shows up on a bike with derailleurs and you begin to bleed from palms and have visions

Does a menstruating woman with otherwise-ordinary palm stigmata qualify for "triple stig" status?

I have a triple on my roadie. That's what it came with, and I didn't feel like spending coin to lose a ring. I have nevr started spontaneously bleeding from the palms, but I have gone up a few hills that sort of required that tiny little ring. But I make up for it by only haveing one gear on my commuter, whcih gets a lot more use than my roadie. So between the two, I have 4 rings. Does that count?

Admittedly, sometimes I wish my roadie had a double, because some of the hills I like are almost too hard in the middle ring, and I really don't like using the little ring because it occasionally jumps cogs when I'm in it. And I can't seem to get the derailleurs set to work perfectly with all 3 rings.

A trippel is satisfactory, but usually only after a ride, unless it's a cross race.

A triple is never seen around these parts, unless you're carrying all your belongings on your panniers, or you're in the local "weenie club."

    EABOD.

    I ride a triple.

Don't use it, but it was at the right price point and about all I could afford when I started riding.
I know we just met and this is crazy....

Yes, in estres, all things are possible.

HOWEVER, depending on the flow, wolves, coyotes some male moose and deer would see you as a hook up as well.

OF COURSe, this would depend on the flow as it were. I mean if you have one of those gushers that isa virtual niagara of menstruation, well, good luck because that means field mice and chipmunks are all over you. Assuming you have to sit on a bale of cotton during this time of course, but no worrries, you would have passed out from blood loss long before.

A whole bag? But one is usually enough to fill you up for hours.
