Opening sequence of Robert Altman's the Player, a mixture of genius, metadrama and irony...cut cut cut.

Hilarious. That scene hit the nail on the head about WTH we were doing over there in the first place!

Amazing. Do you think they did that in one take? Altman had the wry, ironic wit characteristic of Kansas City, the town he grew up in. He made 60 some industrial films there before breaking into Hollywood. His unconventional POV got him in trouble with producers. The mark of a true genius!

    Introducing the Hanson brothers

We just don’t realize the most significant moments of our lives when they’re happening
Back then I thought “well there'll be other days”
I didn’t realize that was the only day

    One.
So let's just say I'm drivin' this buggy...

The scene from “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” where R.P. Mc Murphy (Jack Nicholson) tries to prove his point about ‘at least trying’ by attempting to tear a sink out of the floor to throw it through the window. He fails….but at least he tried….at least he did that.

HA! Excellent choice. Near and dear to my heart as a Minnesota bred hockey player.

Checkout the wikipedia page about those Hanson brothers. They were for real. All 3 of those guys (actors?) actually played pro-level Hockey.
