That's never been an issue with LeBron, AFAIK.

His main minus isn't a lack of class, but rather perhaps the effect he has on an organization. As in, he sort of becomes de facto co-GM and co-coach.

Thus, you saw things in Cleveland like overly rich contracts being given out to LeBron's friends guys like Tristan Thompson and JR Smith when that probably wasn't the right call for the franchise (or ironically for James, in terms of his chances of winning more championships).

But, class and sportsmanship? LBJ seems to have that in spades. Just hope he doesn't make Magic's, Pelinka's, and Luke Walton's lives miserable in LA.

Important restricted free agents who are getting pissed off because their teams aren't making them concrete offers yet:

    Clint Cappella, Rockets
    Marcus Smart, Celtics

They'd be significant losses for their current (and championship-contending) teams, and pretty big pickups for whoever can snatch them up this year or next, assuming a 1-and-1 contract (all the rage right now in the NBA).

Houston, especially, should be careful. They already lost Ariza. They lose Cappella too, and it's hard to see how they compete with Golden State come playoff time.

And no, signing Carmelo wouldn't help.

They just need to pay Capela if they want the ring. Melo signing is silliness.

Word. But, still no Capella signing, and they just lost another forward, Mbah a Moute, to go along with Ariza's exodus.

And word is the talks with Melo are getting more serious... even though he doesn't play defense and is selfish/locker-room poison.

I just don't know what's gotten into Houston's management this off-season. They put together a great team previously, but now seem bound and determined to shoot themselves in the foot... repeatedly.

This just in... Houston finally does something smart this off-season, signs Clint Capela to a five-year, $90 million deal.

By-the-by, the Rockets were 42-3 in regular season games last season in which Harden, CP3 and Capela were all playing.
