    R255/r265

Anyone have these frames. Would like to know what your riding impressions are, especially climbing and descending.

    Thanks,
    John

I just built one; only have around 600 miles on it, but a fair bit of climbing so far. I think the bike is stiff on the rear and through the bottom bracket, not too heavy and really supple riding over poor roads. In fairness, any comparison of this bike is skewed by the choice of groupset. I have a Tiagre triple with a custom 14-29 cassette, as compared to my Bianchi, (50/36; 11-32); it's better suited to the task of climbing.

As for descending, I find my front end to be acceptable, but there is no comparison to be made because I descend like Wiggo in the wet at the Giro. I suck at descending in general.

Thanks for the reply. Kind of what I was hoping to hear re stiffness. How long did it take to get your frame? Was your experience with Lynskey positive? Again appreciate your comments.

I bought mine from Lynskey via ebay. Arrived within 2 days. The build quality is quite impressive. Weight of frame is less than 1500 grams--not bad for titanium. I'm happy with it--would definitely not hesitate to do a century with climbing with it.

Great, thanks again. Ordered from Lynskey but they have to build it so about 4 weeks they said.
