Fitting Campagnolo 11 Cassette to Mavic Cosmic Carbones

I fit my chorus 11 cassette to 2nd hand wheels today and the largest cog touches the spokes (I assume thats whats binding ) and the freehub will not ratchet ,If I put a washer in there then there might not be enough threads for the lockring ? Is there any trick people know of to make this work ? thanks Ian

Some of the older Mavic wheels weren't compatible with Campy 11 cassettes. You could maybe file or Dremel the hub if you have one of these and you are brave.

ah cheers skepticman , I am brave and may give that filing a go, I was concerned a spacer slid on first may lead to clearance issues at the dropout end

Bike 24 is in Germany and that 3 Euro spacer was 20 Euros postage ! , so I bought a pack of 3 off an american ebay seller for 8 USD shipped instead.
