I actually sold my Sempre around Thanksgiving. By that time, it had been over two months with no decision on a cracked Infinito frame on Bianchi's part. And for that, I didn't want to ride any other Bianchi product because I didn't feel they were doing me right.

As far as the Sempre and Infinito comparison goes, they are made for two different types of riders. The Sempre has a more aggressive geometry. The groupset on the Sempre is a mix of Reparto Corse and Shimano. For me, I felt like I was riding faster, but my GPS told me otherwise. I could ride the Sempre without any problem to begin with. It is quick in the turns and is a very stiff ride.

With the Infinito, it is made more for long distance riding for comfort, with a taller head tube and a more relaxed geometry.. The carbon frame has more flex to it than the Sempre's stiffer frame. riding long distance at a pretty fast pace. Hope this helps. If I were to do it all over again, I'd just get the Infinito.

I read you own both an infinite and sempre. I just purchased a sempre, but was maybe thinking I should have bought the infinito.

I'm not too flexible, but I'm rather young (26), I prefer to ride faster, but I do not do any races. Could you please comment on the differences between the two frames?

    Nazz44,

Maybe we could ride together sometime?

If you go to the beach after 5, the roads are not too bad. If you head out of Casino Beach and head toward Ft. Pickens, the road is better than going toward Portofino.

The other way to go is heading out toward Portofino. Most times, I'll just keep riding until I get to Navarre and make a quick stop at the Tom Thumb there to refill the water bottles. It's about 35 miles round trip from Casino Beach.

I will warn you of two things when riding on the beach. First, there's always an east to west or west to east wind, which means one of the ways you're going to hit a tailwind. Be prepared for that.

The other thing is the heat off the road and no shade to cool you off in the summer. I rode out there one morning from 6-8 am and the temp off the road reached nearly 100 degrees.

If you'd like to ride, just let me know. My number is 850-941-1538.

I live in west pensacola and was thinking of riding at the beach later in the day (after 5pm). What traffic like then? Don't really want to ride on the bike lane. Would it be a little hairy or has everything died down by then? Thanks
