Hello,
I was looking for an answer to my question, and came across your post. I have been experiencing the exact same problem. I'm new to Sram after a couple of decades on Shimano and Campy. I tried adjusting my rear der. yesterday and now the whole bike SQUEAKS like a rusty door with every (hard) pedal stroke. At first I thought the BB was dead, or the cranks unscrewed... I'm unfortunately away from home for a couple of months and can't drop the bike at a shop. Did you find a solution? Was it the rear derailleur after all?
Thanks!
Carole
PS: Sorry for posting here. I'm apparently not allowed to send you a PM.
