A buddy and I rode the B&O ride on the west side of indianapolis last weekend. Did the 48 mile course. Very well organized, nice roads, perfect weather, not much traffic, great food at the end.
The Hope Ride in September is usually awesome. I normally do 50 or 75 miles there. If the weather is perfect (ie: not much wind), I'll opt for a century if I'm feeling strong at 75 miles.
I've been to a few rides in the Brownsburg area. Pancake flat out there as compared to greenwood and Johnson county. My riding buddy says the glaciers stopped flowing around the south side of 465 back several thousand years ago.... And didn't have a chance to smooth out southern indiana.
