    65.1 Brake Clearnance Issue

Just built up a 65.1 with Campagnolo Record 11 Speed 2011=2014 gruppo. Skeleton front brake will not allow Conti Grab Prix 4000SII 25mm tire. Tire rubs bottom of brake. Any one else experience this? Does not appear to me to be a solution. 23mm Conti 4000SII works fine. Rear brake works fine with 25mm Conti.

Solved. I contacted Pinarello dealer and they stated that indeed the Campy skeleton brakes will not allow a 25mm tire in front fork. They said Dura Ace would work. Odd that two premier Italian manufacturers making products at the same time did not coordinate this small issue.

You want quality and attention to detail-don't look to the Italian framebuilders.

Buy American, whether it's the OEM or custom frame market, you'll get more attention to detail.

That was certainly helpful. This kind of reply is why I quit roadbike review before.

    What a stupid comment.

I left for the same reason, looks like nothing changed.
