Accused Craigslist Predator
This is another of those stories that is a nightmare however it turns out.
The BU medical student accused of killing one and robbing at least one other woman advertising massage services on Craigslist has all the appearances of the straight-laced, clean cut innocent his friends and family think he his. If he is innocent, what a trip through Hell for him. If he committed the crimes, it's yet another illustration that the "he seemed so nice" social profiling that we all use in subtle ways everyday can't always be relied upon.
As for proving guilt, let's hope there's some very, very good direct evidence so any conviction or acquittal doesn't linger in a fog of doubt...
Let's hope that if he is guilty there is enough evidence of any kind to get him put away so he can't do it again?

No one is as bad as the worst thing they have done & no one is as good as the best thing they have done.........think of that when you feel like you understand someone.
let's hope he's not tried in the media so he can at least get a fair trial
Whenever the legislators endeavour to take away and destroy the property of the people, or to reduce them to slavery under arbitrary power, they put themselves into a state of war with the people who are thereupon absolved from any further obedience, and are left to the common refuge which God hath provided for all men against force and violence - John Locke
Nope, but the fact that sometimes we can be so wrong doesn't doesn't mean we can't get it mostly right most of the time. If we're not going to live in the woods as hermits, we have to trust our judgments and understanding of others despite knowing we could be horribly wrong.

I'm wondering if victim #2 wasn't planning to rob her customer. Seems awfully strange that her husband was nearby... and the scam of robbing someone by posing as a hooker is a pretty old one.
