How big a problem is al-Qaeda in Cuba?

Watching the debate, and Santorum got all red in the face about Islamic terrorists (Iran, al-Qaeda) exerting increasing influence in Cuba and Venezuela.

I haven't seen this in the news. Is Rick onto something?

    It's a non-issue, especially in Cuba.

They don't know anything yet, but think they do.

Y'know, maybe comparing Santorum's understanding of the world and intellectual abilities to high school kids is an insult to the kids. I stand corrected.

Chavez and Ahmadinejad have been making kissy-face lately. If that concerns anyone. Me, I think Ahmadinejad is an empty suit blowhard that the Mullahs allow to parade around and distract the West while they (the Mullahs) go about their business.

    Kind of like Biden.

He has less power, or chance of power, then even our VP.

This graphic makes it fairly clear:

Their dealings should not be disregarded because we think Ahmadinajad has no power, he is the face and voice of the power in Iran.

Its no doubt the black hair and beard and suspicious complexion. Even the names are suspiciously similar, Che Guevara - Al Quaeda, short first names and last names with u's and e's and ending with a's.

Fidel has expressed nothing but clear contempt for AQ, and for 9/11. To even mention tnem in the same breath is sheer ignorant stupidity. I didn't hear that in the debate, but I guess nothing surprises me.
