    The Peoples Republic of Massachusetts

Has granted me a license to carry a concealed weapon, be it a handgun or pepper spray with no restrictions.

It's great they have allowed me to exercise my 2nd amendment rights

My license came earlier today. Off to the gun shop I go.

Yes. I know in some states is goes by county but this covers all of Mass. I'll be getting my NH license as well. All they require is a copy of my id and the $100 fee. Live Free or Die at it's finest

What I don't like about concealed carry is that it's only for normal weapons. Like, it's not an "if you can conceal it, you can carry it" law.

    Otherwise:

We are in the process no longer requiring licenses. Not sure about non-residents. Check the new laws. Might save you 100 to wait a little longer.

I always carry, usually a Springfield 40 caliber SD sub-compact.

Two times it's diffused situations that were getting ugly quick.

It's nice to welcome Massachusetts back to America. My brother lives in southern NH and does a lot of tournament shooting. PM me if you need any local knowledge or want to get some target practice in.

All of us concealed carry folks should get some free rep.
Louisiana is an open carry state. I got my concealed permit anyway. Although I never see anyone open carry, I think it just asks for attention (trouble).
I laugh at my friend when he straps his AK-47 on his back while riding his motorcycle. No one else laughs at him...

Nice! Here in the good old People's Commie Paradise of Illinois we don't get concealed carry. Thanks Chicago.

That's the ironic part about concealed carry. Why license carrying a weapon concealed when it's allowed in the open? Also, long arms ftw.

An armed society is a polite society, until the shooting starts, then it gets mighty rude mighty fast.

In Mass. there's no law against open carry, however, the state is a "may" issue state. If someone calls the police b/c they see you with a gun in the open, the police can question your suitability to carry a firearm and will most likely take your gun and carry license from you.

    This state is pretty interesting.

maybe...I doubt it (on the thread and the ride). my only concern with CWP is the IQ and thought process of those owning it. some people are really just too thoughtless and immature to be handling a loaded weapon in public, and the screening process does very little to account for that.

wish I was riding too..but it's dumping rain out there.
