I think it's four so is this really a mass shooting or just another day in America? Then again, if they turn of the shooter's life support it'll be five.

They those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it. The problem is you can't teach stupid and history is taught in a classroom.

The really, truly, honest-to-goodness ****ed up part about this is how nonchalant we all are.

Or how another gun thread was started before the bodies were even cold.

So when is the appropriate time to discuss current events like a mass shooting? Do we wait a day? Or 5 days? Or a month? How about a year? Can we talk about last years mass shootings yet?

In Afghanistan, Taliban drove an ambulance past a couple checkpoints, driver blows up the vehicle and OVER ONE HUNDRED ARE DEAD.

And a mere five are dead in PA. You think WE have problems?

You're right. We're better off than Somalia. No worries. Everything is just perfect here.

Your posts makes no sense. I checked Google. It would take me 27 hours, and 2 flights, to get to Kabul. Meanwhile, in America, 135,000 people have been killed in the last decade. 270,000 injured.

Why does god keep letting these things happen?

Because the gun laws are holding back the good guys. We need MOAR guns!!

In other news, I heard that schoolteachers are starting to buy bulletproof vests. Not a problem, as long as they can still pledge allegiance to the flag.

See what happens when you do not have a well regulated militia.

Oh you are so ****ed over there. We used to dream about America.
They do anything just to win a salami in ridiculous races. I take my gear out of the car and put my bike together. Tourists and locals are watching from sidewalk cafes. Non-racers. The emptiness of those lives shocks me. It was the illest of times, it was the dopest of times. And we looked damn good. Actually the autobus broke down somewhere on the Mortirolo.

How is the actionable reaction to Sandy Hook or Las Vegas going or is it still too soon to do anything other than thoughts and prayers? i think those bodies are cold enough.

Gun thread? This isn't a gun thread. We have been told over and over that guns have nothing to do with mass shootings.

This is a hopes and prayers thread

    Really?

Most reasonable people would be more concerned about things that happen in their country and less concerned about something that happened 8,000 miles away. Deflecting from what is happening here in the US by babbling "But, but Kabul!" is nonsensical.

    Surely you can understand that
