NAHBS News - Ingleheart Custom Frames and Forks

Igleheart Custom Frames & Forks to Match Safety with Simplicity at the North American Hand Made Bicycle Show

Igleheart's superlative craftsmanship will be on display starting Friday at booth #205

WENHAM, Mass. (February 26, 2007) This Friday Igleheart Custom Frames & Forks will reveal the first ever handmade fork equipped with the Montague CLIX(TM) System dropouts. The debut will take place at the North American Hand Made Bicycle Show in San Jose, Calif. March 2-4.

Igleheart's fork is an elegant cyclocross fork with stainless steel accents and a sweeping rake with a thin turn of the ankle ending in Montague's trademarked dropout.

"After helping with the development of this system of Montague's, I am pleased to show it off at such a prestigious event among so many of my peers," said Christopher Igleheart, founder of Igleheart Custom Frames & Forks. "It isn't everyday one can be involved with improving upon Tulio Campagnolo's original invention."

The unique CLIX Wheel Retention System (which has been a hushed project these past few years) steps into the spotlight as an intuitive, user-friendly system that brings together safety and simplicity in the same sentence. Drop by booth #205 and see for yourself how this one-handed wheel retention system works!

About Igleheart Custom Frames & Forks:

Christopher Igleheart has a long association with the bicycle. After the youthful infatuation we all share for our first means of transportation and independent adventure, Igleheart followed that passion into adulthood.

As a former shop owner this led directly to the world of mountain bicycles. Working behind the scenes for another builder, he began with forks.

A champion of steel as the superior frame material led to an intimate working knowledge of all the top manufacturers of bicycle-specific tubes. In addition, Igleheart has a vast understanding of joining together more exotic materials too. Almost a decade of stainless steel craftsmanship has led to some of the most striking and handsome embellishments to his top-level frames with this lustrous, enigmatic material.

With the resurgence of steel as a viable lightweight bicycle material and the pending release of a complete Columbus stainless tubeset, Igleheart is poised to be one of a select few to exploit these new technologies to maximum benefit.
