Rudy Project Aims for the Podium at the Tour de France 2006

Constantly committed to the sponsorship of over 10,000 athletes of all nationalities involved in the most wide-ranging activities at all competition levels, Rudy Project is once again a lead player with the cyclists on the Tour. This year it has already achieved much success in many sporting disciplines – how can we forget the 45 medals won at the Turin Winter Olympics – but Rudy Project is certainly not willing to stop here, and aims at obtaining excellent results in cycling too.

At the start of the 93rd edition of the Grande Boucle, Rudy Project mounted the bicycle with 26 racers, among the best sprinters in the world such as Oscar Freire (Rabobank), who won the 9th stage at the final sprint, 169.5 km between Bordeaux and Dax, and Zabel, Bennati and Eisel.

The Rudy Project objective? Important achievements to be conquered thanks to the determination and talent of high calibre cyclists such as the Russian Menchov (Rabobank) who won the 11th stage yesterday, being the first to cross the finish line at Val d’Aran, or like Rasmussen (Rabobank), the winner of the polka-dot jersey for best climber or again Cunego, Dekker, Wiggins or Flecha. Climbs, breaks and pursuits, epic undertakings of men who chase a dream on the saddle of their bicycle while conquering an all-important place in the history of sport.

Those who choose Rudy Project choose technical sunglasses with an all-embracing design. They are excellent companions for moments requiring extreme effort thanks to the use of ultra-light material which may be fitted with ImpactX photochromatic polarised lenses made of NXT - perfect for excellent light management in all atmospheric conditions. And that’s not all. The super lightweight Rudy Project aerodynamic helmets, which have been studied in collaboration with the best teams in the world, ensure the utmost of safety. With Rudy Project you can rest assured of a 100% guarantee of total comfort and high performance.
