Seriously, Hinault has the personality of a serial killer, everyone was shocked Lemond took him at his word.

HOWEVER, there does not appear to be that level of shall we say, dishonesty? This is going to be a very cool infighting TDF. I might even go home and watch the 86 Tour and train

So far this TdF has been fun- and in HD to boot. Can't wait to watch the TTT with no time cut protection.

The HD looked incredible today with the camera right in Columbia's faces as they were rotating.

That's the other big difference. Lance never said he'd only ride for Alberto this time around.

"no time cut protection" Do you mean if the time difference between 1st and 2nd place is, for example 2 minutes, will be the difference instead of 20 seconds maxium lost they had in last TTT?

I think the similarities will be a little more subtle but the same tension exits. It should be a very interesting 3 weeks.

You got it. Lance has so far on stated he is there because he thinks he can win, AND of course he will ride for the team leader................THEN the interview portion last night after stage 3...

Lance just says hey, I have won it 7 times, I deserve a little credit. IMO, CAPTAIN EGO has eneterd the building and at this point, Contador has to to be placed shall we say ON NOTICE.
