In related news, Schleck has demanded a re-race of the 2011 Tour, stating that he would have raced it differently had he been defending champion.

and 8 seconds after the pic was snapped, the Badger beat the living hell out of AS just for being a lousy time trialer.....

or maybe it was just because he hadn't whipped anyone's a$s yet on that particular day.

Andy's face is more telling than his words, looks like he truly is happy to be a Tour de France winner even if he wasn't on the road (he may realise that will never happen).

    No it's not.

You either win or you don't win. Second place is "First Loser".

Seems like the Schleck strategy of one race per year is finally paying dividends.

I thought that was "The Hog's" strategy too - TdF being the be all and end all of racing - but now Bruynell is squeeling about Radio Shanty's lack of results!

What does he expect when you build a team to win one Grand Tour?

Perhaps he doesn't think they will win the TdF this year and wanted those other wins to soften the blow?

Diod someone call this a "Super Team"?

I still think they need to send Andy on a camping trip with Jens Voigt so he can spend a weekend teaching Andy how to HTFU. Jens is the right person to do it too.
