Thought his frame said "DOGMASTER" for a second. "That's an unusual nickname" I thought. Sadly its just a terribly done Dogma graphic.

How cool would it be if it was the DogMaster. Certainly no less stupid than the Dogma60.1

If his climbing develops in the next couple of years, I think he will be the next big champion. Even if he doesn't become a climber, I think he is someone that over the course of his career could challenge some records for stage wins in grand tours and classics victories. I would love to see a rider again who is able to contend the big classics and GT's. If anyone can become that rider, I think it is him.

Another reason I am excited about Boasson Hagen is because he can contend flat stages that come to a bunch sprint. I don't dislike Cavendish, but he has become so unbeatable in a bunch sprint that it has made flat stages very boring for me. Nobody is as fast as Cavendish in a bunch sprint, but Boasson Hagen might be able to be competitive with him over the last 1000 meters or so. That seems to be becoming his signature move; attack 1k from the finish and beat the bunch sprint. He is very good at it and it is fun to watch.

He's definitely my favorite of the young, developing riders. He's kind of like a cross between Eddy Merckx and Mario Cipollini with Miguel Indurain's personality.

    P.S.

    The Dogmaster Pinarello looks ridiculous.
I like when you get to that point and I donít know if itís the endorphins kicking in or what, but you realize youíre so far from where you started, that youíre finally really somewhere else, a completely different place.

Why is it every time I see his name I'm tempted to head for the freezer for some ice cream?

Boasson Hagen's time trial in Oman was superb and very nearly retrieved the mess Sky made of defending his lead.
Another one who has the potential to do big things is Tony Martin.

You want to look like a bike?

Boasson Hagen doesn't look ridiculous at all.
