    Spartacus's bike shifting

Watching the prologue & during Cancellara's warmup, Sherwin commented that Spartacus's bike had electric shifting on the back to change gears. So is SRAM offering select riders a new prototype electronic shifting for the tour only??? I know that the tour is where all the new stuff gets introduced but theres been no mention of electric shifting from SRAM at all. Any info, anyone???

+1. I like Phil and Paul, but I don't think they're the brightest lights.

If you look at the stage photos on Velonews you will see him using SRAM's R2C shifters....definately not electric shifting.

If SRAM did have electronic shifting ready for Pro testing it would be covered by more than one news source. I haven't seen anything yet, so I would guess they messed up what they were trying to say....or talking out their arse

Sure you aren't remembering when they were talking about the motors people said he used?

They might have been talking about him using an SRM power meter....which is the most probable thing they were talking about.

No he's right, they were definitely claiming that Cancellara was using electronic shifters, even though it was obvious they were regular mechanical shifters.

If you watch the ride that FC did...You will see he missed a couple of shifts...Electronic shifting wouldn't do That, eh? Ha...
