    whats the "pack" under sylvain chavanel's jersey on time trial?

    his smokes for the finish line? lol. cant imagine what it woud be?

    His two-way radio for communicating with the team car. Everyone has one, most team shorts have specific pockets for them.

    That was what I was going to say ... however, it was mentioned the other day that race radios were not allowed in the TOC. If that's the case, I have no clue what it is.

    I heard him say that as well. I thought he might be mistaken though. Like every time he says riders keep their heads "down" to be more aero dynamic and only look up to see where they are going. Huh?
    Keeping your head "up" is more aero than looking down with a big sharkfin of a helmet sticking up.
    I wish someone would correct him. He should know better.
