She's a natural, that's for sure, looking forward to seeing her career progress, just like Evelyn Stevens.
In reference to the Assault on Mt Mitchell...

Agreed. She's arguably the best American pro racer right now and probably the most entertaining as well.

She's a good one. I'd agree that she may very well be the best American cyclist right now (male or female).

She's awesome! My wife is filipina and so obviously my kids are too. We saw her race the Tour of Somerville in 2014 and were rooting for her that day. She didn't win, but the race was great. I've been following her career ever since.

I remember her crushing adults at CX races back when she was a kid. You could tell, even then, she was going to do great things in the cycling world. The talent was undeniable. So here's 4 names to keep an eye for. Meghan Jastrab, Zoe Ta Perez, Makayla Macpherson and Chloe Patrick. All between 14-16, all amazing talents.

I just read an article on Megan from Velonews. She sounds like the real deal.

She is. Nice Kid. 15 years old racing Cat 1 Pro and finishing well. At the highly competitive LA Velodrome she races the Cat 1s and wins / podiums. Only person who gives her a good run is Zoe Ta Perez (also her National Champ Madison partner). In the LA Circuit race Women's Cat 1 race 15 year old Zoe won while 14 year old Makayla MacPherson took 2nd, in a bunch sprint, downhill....ON JR. RESTRICTED gears. Jen Valente used to do the same thing. The Track gives these kids the ability to spin like beasts.

She set some national records a couple weeks ago on the track. Won 3 golds a couple Silvers and 2 4ths.

The other girl is Chloe Patrick. 13 years old, she is mostly a track racer. Won most of the National Golds and took 1 silver to Makayla. Did one road race this season, SoCal Nevada 'states' and won

you can see their names through these results

    Thanks, folks.
They do anything just to win a salami in ridiculous races. I take my gear out of the car and put my bike together. Tourists and locals are watching from sidewalk cafes. Non-racers. The emptiness of those lives shocks me. It was the illest of times, it was the dopest of times. And we looked damn good. Actually the autobus broke down somewhere on the Mortirolo.
