Not really easy to pick riders as you need to save a bunch of swaps going from the cobbled to the Ardennes. Anyway I'm in.

Yeah, that kind of ends up being fun though because you have to be strategic. Good eye catching that your first time though.

Well team is put together and league joined. However, not very confident with it. On the other hand several of the riders I picked should at least be in most of the cobbled classics. LOL

Definitely some strategy involved... I feel like I've got a good team for today and the cobbled classics, but I'm lacking guys that can do well in the Ardennes.

My hope is to use most of my swaps for the Ardennes. I know exactly what I want my Ardennes team to look like as well as long as I can do it with the credits. LOL You're right definitely some strategy involved in this.

It looks like the points are up. Off to a solid start, but still lots of races left and tough decisions to make. Nice job Rich.

The site has been updated. Everyone can make any changes they see fit to their rosters for the next race(s).

an interesting race today... you used 11 transfers for this race, though. That's almost half of what you're allowed for the whole string of races.

It's definitely a good preview for the rest of the cobbled classics. I love all of these races, so I get stoked for every one. Yep, I break the races into three phases of roster changes. This was one of two big ones I make. There's no point to rolling into the Ardennes down 250+ points with 15 transfers in the bank IMO. To each his own though. I trust my gut, it has served me well thus far. I have won this competition at least once and been on the podium the rest of the time I believe. Every year is different though, so we'll see.

Edit- I looked it up and I won in 2015, but finished 6th out of 14 in 2016. It was other competitions that I have made the podium on over the years (including the 2015 TDU).

Yes... definitely some big points for Tom yesterday. I didn't have many riders in the race (4, I think) so I'm happy I scored some. Turbo Durbo did me well. Hopefully Friday works better for me.

Lol. There is still a lot of racing left and anybody could still win this thing to be honest.

Durbo definitely looked good. He's another one that has indicated that he has fallen in love with racing the Classics and plans to make it his primary focus. That's a good sign in the effort department. I wish everyone the best, may the odds be forever in your favor....

It makes sense, his body build and skills seem perfect for it IMO (like Tony Martin).

One of you had an INCREDIBLE Roubaix. You killed it and took over the overall lead. It looks like LV did his thing as well. Nice to see you here, Sir. Congrats!!
