I was going to ask same. What's the deal at this point? I don't know the rules -- Can ya trade wheels/bikes off the roof of the support car if there's a mechanical?

Phew, good, thanks, that'll help me sleep better.

Otherwise, I'd have to call my mom, she's visiting realatives in France right now, and she could lend him one of my old bikes or something. My old five speed Raleigh racing bike from about '74 with the Brooks saddle, comes to mind. ;-)

Indeedy, barring mechanicals or worse he's won it. Let's keep our fingers crossed and remember that the show ain't over till the fat f*ck farts.

His friggin bars were cockeyed at the finish. But I don't care. Winner!

The final chapter on this great novel has been written. Hindered by a weak course, marred by a drug scandal, the human drama took center stage. We are all better men for witnessing such an event.

Great job - super effort! The stuff of legends for sure. Looks like his secret identity is blown though.

probably a good time to invest in cycleops as well, as I'm sure we'll be seeing tons of powertaps out on the road soon...

Yeah, no kidding. They looked crooked for half the race.

I think everyone loves floyd. Even The Chicken was sporting a goatee at the start of the TT.

I don't think it's so accurate to say it was a weak course if you factor the weather conditions this year and the three alpine stages. If I'm not mistaken the race officials had to make exceptions regarding the time limit/cut off on two occasions otherwise huge chunks of the peloton would have been sent packing.

I don't think they were, I think he was just holding em funny. Unless they got bent or a weld broke, I dont think there's any way they could've been crooked, since they are integrated with the base bar (not clip ons).
