First, and foremost -- yes, this is complaining and I just need to HTFU. Yes, I am trying to justify my own inadequacy as an "athlete".
I've got a JetFluid Pro, been doing Spinervals according to a nifty schedule I found. Don't race, just looking to get in better shape over the winter.
I see the people spinning 53/12's in the video, and I'm churning at about 70RPM. The folks in the Spinervals video look like they're riding Mag trainers. Even assuming they are riding something comparable to the Magneto Pro at the highest Mountain setting, the JetFluid Pro's resistant curve decimates all (except a narrow band -- JetFluid is 750W at 30mph).
Suffer moar, or drop a cog or two?
