    two sprint'ish races in one day what to do between?

    Next Sundayi have two events (actually one split in two)

    Each race will last about 45 minutes. There will probably be between 2 and 3 hourse between each race.

    What would you do during the down time to ensure the best potential second race?

    then I did it and crawled into bed with my gf and that aspect alone changed EVERYTHING. It felt soooo good

    take a nice long leisurely cool-down after the first one. hydrate, chill, eat lightly. warm up normally for the second one.

    2-3 hours between? you can probably do a very short warm up for the second one, i doubt you'd need to completely repeat your normal warm up. lots of elite level racers will do a couple hours in the morning before an afternoon/evening crit or even mass start track race, and then just do a quick warm up before the event. your personal experience w/ your upcoming events will help you figure out what you can do or get away w/o doing.
