    1983 Trek 520 650b

This is one flavor of 650b conversion. I haven't ridden it much yet but so far I like it. The Pacenti Pari-Motos are great. The guy who had the bike originally took it to a framebuilder and had some braze-ons added and powdercoated. At some point I'm going to suck it up and get a custom 650b but in the meantime I like the idea that the oldies and goodies are still being ridden.

    I'm curious why'd you go 650b?

is it so you can get big tires on there?
