    1984 Panasonic Sport-DX

I have been looking for a winter commuter. I picked up this 1984 Panansonic Sport-DX last week for $140. After inspecting it it looks like the seat and front wheel are not original. I took it for a short ride yesterday everything seemed good. I figure a few nights works and less than $100 in parts and I will have a nice winter commuter.

Shimano rear derailleur with 6 gears.

Sakae SA crank with Shimano front derailleur.

Shimano shifters and brakes. Original handlebar with all the engraving as described on Sheldon Brown's site.

This summer I picked up a Sport 500 for my son. Panasonics are a good solid bike.
