here goes, Mention the words fixed, or single speed, or fixie, or SS, and vintage in your title. The bike is in great shape very little if any rust, paint is still all there , photos need to show the 531 decal that reflects the quality of the tubeset, photo of the rear derailuer, this bike has horizontal drop outs, thats important to people that want to convert your bike into a fixed gear or single speed bike. mention the drivetrain components if there all from the same manufactuer they will have more value. Measure the frame, top tube, center of intersection at seat tube and at head tube (steerer tube) , the seat tube, center of crank to cent of intersection of top tube and head tube overall dimensions. this helps buyer size the bike. at least 4 well lit shots, they don't need to be enlargeable if there well lit. if your going to set a reserve price start the bidding at below $10 this keeps your insertion fee low. visit eBays sellers hints for more listing ideas.
Thanks moschika and cmg. A fixie is not a bad idea for this bike. Would you suggest parting it out and selling the frame separate? The bike has a Campy SR crank with NR derailluers, Modolo Equipe brakes, Campy HF hubs and Mavic GP4 rims. BTW, tubeset is 531c DB.
Parting it out is always a way to make a few dollars more. there are several gran corsas on ebay now track a few of them to see where yours will sell at. When you list the wheels put them in both mavic and campy sections of eBay.
on a set-up like this, you'll probably get more for it parted out. you've kind of seen what you'll get with both auctions ending around the same amount. however, parted out, you'll get about that much for just the wheels, cranks and derailleurs.
Some fans of Triumph motorcycles (no relation) will pay a
small premium for that brand just because it appeals to their
motorcycle jones.
