    Basso Pista... What year????

Just bought this sweet Basso Track bike for the Velodrome.
Green / Purple split paint job, Columbus Cromor tubing. Panto fluted seat stays.
Miche Primato gruppo. Light stiff and fast on the track. Can't seem to find any intel on this.
Can you guys help me to ID what year this is?

Judging by the decals I would say very late 80s to early 90s, and I am leaning towards the later. In fact I am almost certain it is post 1992. The bikes in the 92 catalog still used the older decals, so maybe 93 94ish?

Thanks. Did some Google searches by year and that seems about right. The Green / Purple scheme seems to fall in there somewhere.

Turns out this is a 1993 Basso Gap Pista. Very Sweet.

Nice! You did a nice job with that bike, I dont think I saw the whole bike, just the frame before?

Maybe go all black (crank, post) in future upgrades? Then again it goes with the silver handlebar and headset.

Got me in the mood to take my Basso Gap out today. Very stiff but super fun.

    Thanks!!
    Made a few changes
Had to swap out the stem (120mm) to a 100mm
Got a real nice DiaCompe quill stem, nice vintage look.
Also mounted the San Marco Prop saddle that came with the bike.
Going to upgrade the Velocity rims with Dura Ace High Flange track hubs.
Rocking a 49t Miche Primato crank ring now.. fast!
