    Stopped by to see Hans

On my way home from HOU to DFW. Always a great rambling conversation about various cool bikes, the bike biz, carbon breaking, etc, punctuated with great stories. I snapped a few pix.

    Tools for making bikes:

This one's for sale. 56-57, I forget exactly what he said.

He said, "I can't sell it as new because of this blemish". I said, "what blemish?"

Then I noticed this cool old Raleigh hanging there:

He said, "yeah that is the first bike I ever raced on. Beena while since I rode it"

He traded Howie a couple of tires for this stem.

Just random bits of awesomeness hanging all over that shop.

And a bucket of broken carbon:

    Excellent!

Howard, I assume is John Howard??
"When the spirits are low, when the day appears dark, when work becomes monotonous, when hope hardly seems worth having, just mount a bicycle and go out for a spin down the road, without thought on anything but the ride you are taking."

(Sir) Arthur Conan Doyle. Scientific American, January 18, 1896
