So do you use Tufo tire sealant when you air up a new tire or carry it with you to fix a flat? Does it affect the feel of the tires? How much do you use?
THNX
I should clarify. I'm thinking of trying tubular tires and want to reduce my chances of having a roadside drama.
put it in from new, why wouldn't you? no, it will not have any effect on how the tire feels. for a road tire a small amount is fine, especially since it's not needed to make the tire casing airtight. probably an ounce would be fine.
Thanks cxwrench. One other question. Tufo says to only use on Tufo tires and I think they use a butyl inner tube. Are there any issues with using it on tires with a latex tube?
