Assos bibs are changing color

They are turning a light brown on the fronts of the legs and the sides where the sun hits them. Where you sit and the straps are still jet black so I know it's the sun. They are 2 years old and wearing like iron so this is the only complaint I have about them. Has this happened to anybody else?
And after all these years why is there no clothing section on this forum?

My FI.Mille bibs have gotten lighter over the past two years...dark grey rather than the dark black they began. My FI.13_S5 bibs have not lightened at all.

Washing them with Woolite and cold water on a gentle cycle helps.

I've never seen black Assos bibs turn light brown.

Don't have experience with those bibs but color fade of black items due to sunlight is common. Often they turn brown or a very dark green. However it seems that the Assos brand, being SO expensive should resist this better than most, and I have some very old shorts that don't appear to have faded a bit.

ditto my F1 Unos, got a little gray, doesn't seem to be affecting the
pliability of the material or its durability, although it was a little disappointing
since none of my other bibs faded or was as expensive. Purely a cosmetic
issue since all other aspects of bib performance are toprate.
