branford bike is just WAY too far away to send my rear brake/shift lever for a rebuild.
i'm in western massachusetts. none of the local shops are versed in this process
does anybody know of a place closer to the north east?
How is Seattle way to far away from MA? Priority mail will have it there in 2 days. You might even have them back before you finally find someone local that has all the parts in stock. And if Branford does them all the time wouldn't you want that over someone local that's done one or two?
Anyway you might try Don at New Horizons in Westfield (newhorizonsbikes.com). He may do it or know someone that can around you.
You might also consider doing it yourself. It's not that hard and there are plenty of video and written tutorials available. Less than an hour job (significantly less once you've done it a couple of times).
