    Loose Zertz in CF Roubaix Comp Seat Post . . .

    Anyone have an issue with loose Zertz in Roubaix seat post? If yes, remedy?

    Most of the seatposts I've seen have loose zertz.

    Unless its REALLY loose and constantly wants to fall out, I don't think there is a problem. As soon as you sit on the saddle you compress the seatpost enough that it usually binds the zertz in place.

    I havn't talked to the S rep about this, but it would be interesting to know their formal response.

    if you go to Specialized.com web site there is a link there where you can ask them questions directly via e-mail. I asked a couple of questions and got good responses from them in a matter of a few days. You might try this too. If you succeed please post your findings. I just got 2005 Roubaix Comp so this kind of knowledge is very handy to have.
