Can't tell if this is an attempt a humor (no, I'm not that sweet) or a defense. If it is a defense, then try getting glue and patches to work with a wet tube and tell me how it turns out.

It only gets used for third flats on most rides (mostly ride with my wife who also has a spare), which are pretty rare. But if I need it, I want that glue to be there. And I want that patch to hold.
For that purpose, I carry a few Park instant patches. They have worked for me any time I have had a second flat (I carry one tube). Never have to worry about the glue drying or the time to use a patch kit at the side of the road.
