650C clincher wheelsets
I just bought my very petite wife a bike with 650C wheels--more or less a necessity given her stature. The wheelset is built on Shimano 105 hubs with plenty of spokes laced 3x to Alex rims--they should be more than strong enough for her 130 or so pounds. My question is, are there lighter 650C clincher wheelsets out there that we could upgrade to later? I realize there are racing tubular wheelsets in that size, but in the event we get that far in we'd be upgrading the whole bike.

I had Hed Alps carbon 650C clinchers on my Cervelo PK2 a few years ago. Very light and fast, not sure if they sell them any more.
You could go with these at BWW Road - 650C - Mavic Open Pro 650C - Ultegra, Dura-Ace or DT 240s - Bicycle Wheel Warehouse

Reynolds Solitudes come in 650c. Very nice wheels, IMO.

Those are some nice looking choices and the prices are right. Thanks, folks.

Felt worked with Reynolds to get their 46mm SLG carbon clinchers made in 650c for use on our DA2. They should be available aftermarket as the only carbon clincher on the market by now.
