So I had a random thought: while considering road bike tire brands, I couldn't help but recall the sensual and iconic image of a Hoosier drag slick buckling and clawing the tarmac at the smoky end of a quarter mile, and I figured that if Conti and Michelin are in the peloton, why not Hoosier?
So I emailed them and shared my daydream of their white-logo-emblazoned, iconic American, sticky suppleness on a road bike. Never heard back. (Yes, itsa crazy dream, but how cool would that be?!)
Anyway, seeing as that dream prolly won't find its way to reality, do you have suggestions for a super sticky, compliant, supple, damn-the-milage-and-puncture-resistance foldable clincher road bike tire?
(Side note: I don't neeeeed that kinda traction—and egg beater has me beat on wattage, for criminy's sake—I just kinda like the ethos.)
