Bike Soul, Neuvation, Williams Cycling or Custom? please help!
I am looking to upgrade my wheels, upgrading from Shimano wh-r550 wheels. I am considering the following wheelsets.
Bike Soul s2.0, Neuvation R28 SL3, Williams Cycling system 19, or a custom wheelset most likey with niobium 19/white industries hubs and CX spokes. I am looking to spend under $500 delivered to Vancouver, BC. I am 160 pounds and ride 4 times a week with an average speed of about 19 mph. Any thoughts on this with be greatly appreciated.

i have those neuvations, and i love them a lot. didn't go with bike soul b/c they're so far away. neuvation has been very helpful and has a great service plan.

do you do mostly climbing, if not you might consider niobium 27 or 30 rims for a more aero profile. Soul s2.0 has an unbeatable price but sketch on the durability and repair; getting a custom would provide a much better warranty option. Neuvation has great reviews but not an amazing set, and williams cycling has yet to be proven????? For what you want I would go custom, you could get it under $500; check out oddsandendos I just bought a set from him.

I and many others are/have been/will be in the same situation. All of those are pretty good wheels. My experiance/research shows...
Neuvation: will be at the lower end of your price range, which is good. They are light and fairly aero for the price.
Williams Cycling: I have actually ridden a set of these (they might have been the thirties though). Again, very light for the price but not aero at all which is arguable a bigger problem. They will be at the top of your price range.
Custom: A lot of guys will tell you to go custom. The fact is that WI hubs, Shimano hubs, etc... will probably be lighter, smoother and more durable than those found on premade wheels. You will probably end up with a fairly light and aero wheelset but again, at the top of your price range.
My opinion is that if you really want to spend the $500 go custom. But if you're really kidding yourself and would rather spend $300 or $400, I would go Neuvation.
