Can I lace a 32h Chris King classic rear hub in 24h triplet?

I have 32h rear Chris King Classic hub that i would like to build. I want good light every day wheel. I only weight about 125 pounds so i think 24 spoke rear would be plenty. Can i lace the CK rear as a 24 hole (8/16) triplet? Anyone know any wheel builders that have lace a King hub in triplet? Do you think this is a good idea?

The Asymmetry of that hub seems high enough for your purpose.
You need a rim that supports the left-right-right-left orientation of 2:1 patterns.
Such rims were the old Mavic CXP14 and CXP30 rims which are out of production and the Fulcrum Racing 7 rims which are available as spare parts at your LBS.

For triplet lacing it's enough if the rims spokeholes are drilled inline. KinLin XR300 is such a rim.

What do you mean by drilled inline?
