Curious about the Rims on the Token C30A

    Hi

A while back, I inspected a set of Token rims at the bike shop where I was getting my Niobiun30 rims built. The rims on the Tokens looked suspiciously similar to the Niobiums I had (Kinlin XR-300 Niobium 30). The bike shop owner, (who is always very helpful) even did a detailed inspection and all the dimensions on the rims appeared identical. He even stated with confidence that the rims must be the same.

Does anyone have any clue what the rims on the Token C30A are? could they be another Niobium rebadge?

    The Tokens are here: http://www.tokenproducts.com/05htm/p...s.php?pc1id=17

    They look like this

    Many thanks to all

There's only one 30mm niobium rim that is made for many other different companies. Kinlin makes them.

Yes. I know that Niobiums, for example, are rebadged as IRD Cadence Niobium rims too. But my question was whether anyone knew whether Token acquire their rims for these wheels from Kinlin?

    Thanks

Can an average joe acquire Kinlin rims? or do you have to get the IRD ones?

They are all Kinlin rims and yes they can be purchased as rims alone.
