    Does anyone here have them?

I build my own, but a buddy has had Dave's wheels, and they're highly regarded on MTBR. I wouldn't hesitate to use him.

I bought a set of speed dream wheels secondhand, they've got the original American Classic freehub, wheelsmith spokes (bladed all but drive side rear,) and velocity aerohead rims.

The freehub has some damage because the guy who had them originally ran a cheap cassette - I'm assuming he didn't take amazing care of them, and they're years old, but they're still true as the day is long laterally, and only very slightly off radially.

I'm new to biking, but my friend who's been a wheelbuilder for 25 years says the speed dream wheels he's seen have been well built, and he's not generous with compliments when it comes to wheelbuilding.
