    Question Disc Wheelsets Slightly Different?

As far as I know both wheelsets I have are 135mm hubs but I did buy one set used. The used set is set up with Novatech hubs and tubeless rims with dirt tires for cross/gravel and came off a cross bike. The other set is the original carbon with White Indistries hubs that I want to use it for road riding with smooth tires as a town and backup bike.

So the first time swapping the rear from cross to road wheels I noticed the disc rotor didnít really fit into the caliper without losening and realigning the caliper. This is not a huge issue but not ideal. Any reason the wheel doesnít just swap out easily without adjustments? Also the front works without any adjustments.

    Thanks!

needing to adjust a caliper to swap wheels to prevent drag is not abnormal, but having to do it to get a wheel to fit seems odd.

Shim the disc. It's very normal.

OK good to know. Iím also running a blasphemous Campy/Shimano/Sram 10 speed combo so I can get a 32 rear for the dirt, which has worked well enough for this bike, but the Stam long cage doesnít exactly allow the wheel to slip in like before.
So I guess some fiddling and then training the brakes and DR is to be expected.

    Thanks
