DT Swiss RR 1.2 aero rims?
Anybody running these new rims? They look nice. I noticed the weight is a little high when compared with other 30mm aluminum rims like the IRD Cadence Aero. I wouldn't care if they are a stronger rim.

If you think that 100g more per rim is a "little bit".
They are comparable to a Deep V in profile and weight... and probably strength. They only come in 28,32 though, and also lack all the color options of Deep Vs.

They are now available in 20 through 32 holes. I built a black set of 24/28 on Dura Ace hubs with CX Ray spokes and I am quite happy with them. I don't remember the final weights.

Nasty, brutish, and tall.

They are nice, but they're outrageously heavy. 580g stated, but consistently (I weighed four rims - two ano-black, two PC silver) 15-20g overweight, bringing them to a cool 600g. That's too heavy, in my opinion.
To the best of my knowledge, Deep-Vs are actually lighter...

Crazy! They are 140g each heavier than Ni30s then...

I was looking at these only because they come in the 20 hole pattern I need to rebuild my DA rear hub. Any other suggestions?

What do you weigh and how do you ride... and is this a racing wheel? With only 20 spokes on a rear, maybe a heavy rim isn't so bad... but the Ni30s come in 20h.
