    IronCross Pro vs Crest Mk3

Hi, a customer is asking about IronCross Pro which has only 24f/28r spokes, but it seems like this is a very flexible wheelset. Adding everything up I can build Crest mk3 with CX Ray spokes 28f/28r for nearly identical weight, actually about 10g lighter. Crest mk3 seems like a stiffer, stronger rim.

What are thoughts on IronCross and Crest mk3 on a cyclocross bike?

He would be using 40-45mm tires.

I built some up for a friend to use on his cross bike. He was pretty happy with them but, he did admit they where flexy. He is a Cat 2 racer and weighs about 130lbs.
