I have a pair of aero wheels (SRAM S60) that are standard 19mm width rims.
My training wheels are bombed out, and I am considering a deal on Velocity A23s, 23mm rim width.
I am concerned about swapping back and forth between these wheelsets on the same bike.
First, I'm thinking I'll want to run barrel adjusters on the brake cables to easily / quickly adjust the clearance to keep my brake lever travel / throw the same. Am I thinking about this correctly?
Second, if the brake pads are installed / adjusted for the training wheels (wider), will I have compromised braking performance when running the narrower rims for which they aren't "tuned"? I'm thinking about the pads not being totally flush to the rims when they contact, squealing, etc.
