I purchased a set of Panaracer Paselas (28c) over the winter for my commuter bike. I've since put a little over 200 miles on them. A few days ago, I noticed/felt a low-speed wobble in the bike as I rode home. I got the bike on the rack and noticed a bulge in the rear tire. I tried removing and reseating the tire, but the bulge is still present. It appears to be located around one of the seams on the sidewall. I don't see any separation. It's as if the material itself has stretched. I swapped out the tires for a set of Michelins I have (and using the old tubes) and the wobble disappeared.
I've heard good things about the quality of Paselas (particularly for the price) which is why I bought them in the first place. Since this happened, I did a little search of the interwebz, though, and found more than a few stories/reviews from folks with similar issues regarding bulges in their Panaracers.
Anyone here have any problems with theirs?
