Shamal Ultra - Hole in Rim?

    Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to install tubeless tires into my new Shamal Ultra's for the first time and seem to be having a problem with air venting out of a small hole in the side of the rim. As you can see below, there seems to be a small 1mm or so hole in the side of the rim. I can't really see down there bc the tire's on, but is this normal? When I'm trying to inflate air is leaking out of this hole. Any help is greatly appreciated!

nevermind, i figured it out. It doesn't vent out of that hole if the valve is seated correctly. Doh!

And FYI that hole in the side wall is to let water out if you get caught in the rain. The water will come in around the valve stem and just stay in there without the drain hole.
